British stockbroker #NicholasWinton visits Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and forms plans to assist in the rescue of Jewish children before the onset of World War II, in an operation that came to be known as the Kindertransport.

I watched this documentary film with tears in my eyes now and then and full of emotion.
How a man commits himself so much and has perseverance, even though the process is often administratively slow, is beautiful to see. The struggle and the question after years of what would have happened to my action then and to these children is tear-jerking.
The end is a beautiful ending to a life so valuable.

This movie shows us humans are stupid. And I mean, we think that aliens, if they exist, think like us, reason like us, communicate like us. As if we are the dominant species in the galaxy and all follow how we think.
This movie is an SF but also not. It shows us we are an aggressive live form on a rock, floating in space. And we know zip. We are so small, and we first have to learn to live in peace without wars.
Then maybe, if there is live outside this galaxy, they will visit us to make contact.

Onze groep wil al heel lang een excuus, vanaf de #tweedewereldoorlog inclusief compensatie voor 2e en 3e generatie.
